I just stumbled across with Video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=46KE_pEx7RMAnd this Giselle: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GayZQcA2E9sThere's also a video of her performing the Corsaire pas de deux but sadly I could not relocate it. It was also a lovely performance. (All 32 fouettes!) I find them both quite an improvement to other videos of her. I really enjoyed the Lilac Fairy - it's such a shame the majority of the videos of her are to slam her and magnify the mistakes. I don't think she should be dancing principal roles yet, I think she should develop more in smaller solos, however I personally do think she has potential, or at least more than a certain youtuber claims. (The online bullying against Skorik is truly sickening, one recent claim against her was that she doesn't control her extensions. *cough* as if a certain other favorite ballerina of this youtuber controlled her extensions when she started her career......) Anyhow, I'm curious on other feedback to these videos!

Bit short on time, but I just looked at the Giselle one and saw that she managed the hops on pointe! This gets me to wondering if we're only seeing 1/2 the story on her.

Found the corsair: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVKoMgc19Y4www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpZC9hSyiEAWhat I don't get are the amount of dislikes on the Giselle video of her. I really do think she's a lovely dancer with potential. Despite the flaws here and there I think there's room for improvement - I don't know why RBV claims her to be the downfall of the Mariinsky. Probably at times the pressure is too much for her. (Thus why I think it would be wiser putting her in smaller solo-roles for now) And I wouldn't be surprised if she's aware of the extent of the online bullying against her, that also doesn't exactly help.

I saw these videos also. I felt that both variations were done correctly. I cannot figure out if the poster is trying to be mean or nice. I am surprised with the dislikes, but I'm assuming they are all from RBV. Is this account an reincarnation of RBV, or is this person a fan that is just posting videos? Since the user disabled the comments, it is difficult to tell. Here is a video of the white swan adagio starting at 6:45: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbYlWrvMitY This video show her performing perfectly fine. I believe we are not getting the full story here. In fact, I read that she received a lot of praise for her role in Midsummer's night dream (2nd act pdd) I guess we will never know, unless there is someone who is in St.petersburg now that can shed some light.

The swan lake pas de deux was beautiful. Despite having such flexibility and high extensions, it's not vulgar in any way. I do see her having a lot of potential.
Someone finally posted on one of RBVs videos that in light of the recent attack in Moscow, this online behavior is a disgrace, and I couldn't agree more with it. Why all the focus on the negative?
I really hope that Skorik will continue to improve and live in blissful ignorance of the ridiculous online behavior.
